The block of rooms that were being held for us at Holiday Inn Express on Lombard St. have now been released, so if you haven’t booked a room yet, you should move quickly!
The promotional discount — $119 per night — is still active. To get this discounted rate, you must call the hotel directly at 416-367-5555 and request the discount group rate for WordCamp Toronto.
Please note that cancellations may be subject to a one-night penalty fee. The staff at Holiday Inn Express can provide more details about their policy when you call.
When you phone the hotel, make sure you ask for a “house-restricted reservation”, or else you end up in a loop between the booking agents, who can’t give you the WordCamp rate, and the front desk, which will send you back to the booking agents without the magic incantation. Once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing.
